Well done to both the 1st & 2nds on
their opening day results.
The 1st team beat Troon 8-0. With awful conditions at Grouter Park goals came from Mikey Davis (3), Chris Tolley (2), Gavin Boon (2) & Dan Ellis. Unfortunately Tolley also missed a penalty but with a second have display better than anything seen in pre-season friendlies, it could be a great season if all the boys keep playing that style and very attractive football.
The 2nds beat Perranwell Res 3-2. Again conditions were poor for football but good goals from Colin Kettle (2) and Aaron Carver, secured a win for the team. A good performance and great result for new manager Kieran Leah.
The thirds opening game is away to Troon tomorrow night (Monday 19th) with a 6:30pm KO. In the Sunday Independants 'Match to Catch', Tuesday night sees the 1st back in action away at Perranwell and on Wednesday the 2nds play away to Illogan. Lots of football, keep up to date on here and on twitter.
