St Day Youth AFC proudly remembered all those that have fallen in previous conflicts to allow us to play the game of football as it is today. All players shirts were donned with a special personalised poppy and on Sunday 9th, remembrance Sunday the club joined the whole village and other organisations at the war memorial in St Day.
The youngsters and parents proudly marched behind Carharrack & St Day silver band from the church to the War memorial and special thanks must go to Joe, Bradley & Theo for laying a wreath on behalf of the club.
Tony Evans & Mark Leah also laid a wreath on behalf of the adult section. The club was praised once again for the behaviour of the children and on how smart they looked all things that we work on very hard as a club.
Pictures below are from different matches and from Sunday, thank you to everyone who has supplied them.
