Following the Cornwall FA AGM, they have announced the following changes to the Senior and Junior Cups
Senior Cup
All teams will be entered into the competition from the 1st Round
Junior Cup
The competition will be played in areas (East and West) for Rounds 1 and 2. The competition will then become countywide with all teams in together from Round 3 onwards
Senior and Junior Cup Finals
The Senior and Junior Cup Finals will be separated and played on different dates.
The Senior Cup Final for 2015-16 will be played on Easter Monday, 28th March, with the Junior Cup Final taking place on Friday 1st April.
Both the finals will now go to extra time should scores be level after normal time.
These changes will be in effect for the 2015/16 season, 2016/17 season and 2017/18 after which time Cornwall FA will evaluate their impact and seek feedback from the clubs on their success. The changes to the cups were made after consultation with leagues and clubs across the County and are a reflection of the views of our members.
A full list of all rule changes and amendments will be posted on the CCFA website, but not until the earliest June 29th 2015
