PENDENNIS SHIPYARD AGREE A THREE YEAR DEAL WITH THE SMALLER SAINTS.

Pendennis Front.jpgAfter 18 months in its design and ensuring the old incorporates the new, St Day AFC is pleased to announce that the new kit is set to be released in 2017. The club decided that a further step towards being ‘one’ was to design and create a kit that would last long term and roll it out so that all teams from U7s to the 1st team we look identical. We looked into possible options, and after seeing successful clients locally within football, we chose to use TAG Sports; who supplies lots of clubs throughout the country with the new style sublimation kits. In simple terms the kits are dyed with the design, logos and badges so that they never fade, the print never gets washed off and for us, most importantly the kits will never go out of stock after a few seasons like all the other companies seem to do. The kit includes old and new mottos, the respect logo and even our nickname is placed in the numbers. We have decided to repay the Redruth Charity Trust who without them, we would not be here. They supported us at our re- commencement in 2011 and further huge support has been given every year since.

Thanks to Pendennis shipyard who have agreed a new 3 year deal with the youth section. Every team will get a new strip early into the new year. As a club we are very excited about our future and close links that can be made with Pendennis shipyard who already offer many local lads apprenticeship schemes and have now offered our young people a chance to play football and look incredibly smart at the same time.

Can you help us further?

In addition to the sponsorship on the front, do you know a local business who would be willing to sponsors our young children and in return they will have their logo on the back of the shirts Back (Plain).jpgabove the number. However once the shirts have been sent to print there is no going back so please contact Mark Leah asap to talk through a plan that could see your business all over Cornwall and even further afield. Not only does St Day AFC play football all over Cornwall but every year we attend tournaments at Plymouth Argyle and our U13s attend an international tournament at our link club in Dirinon, France. Over 90 teams, from 3 continents attend every year, many are academies from professional clubs. Of course if we could agree on a deal with a local company, we would advertise it using the local papers to which we have good communication with but also using our own website to which, on average, is visited by 450 people every day as well as Facebook and twitter and I'm sure I don't need to explain how powerful those two media factors are. It’s taken some time to finalise our new kit to make sure that it incorporates the old and the new, is fit for many years to come and personal to us here at St Day.

You can see the attached images that gives a great impression of how our new kit will look. The final digital image of the company logo on the back of our shirts will be produced for approval quality before printing.

We look forward to hearing from anyone who is interested in bringing this dream closer to reality.
