We are now in a position to give you final details of our tournament weekend (27th & 28th July 2019) at St Day AFC, Vogue Park, TR16 5NQ.
 
As per last year, the Saturday is for U7s-U12s with Sunday being for the U13s & U14s, unfortunately with the lack of interest in U15s this years age group will not go ahead. Both days commence with registration from 8:45-9:30am, please ensure a players name/DOB form (attached) is handed in at this time. At 9:30am we will hold a managers meeting and hand out the correct fixtures for the day. All games will start at 10am and be continuous until all fixtures are complete, with the top four in all age groups upwards of U8s, playing in a semi final with the winners playing in a final. The U7s will all receive a certificate of attendance on the day. The only difference in our tournament from any other is we ask both teams to meet at the designated yellow corner flag on each pitch, the referee will meet both teams there and before the game commences they will oversee both teams conducting a respect hand shake in the middle of the pitch.
 
Both days it is anticipated Vogue Park will see approx 900-1000 people and with that an awful lot of cars. This year we are very limited on parking, less than previous and as a club we are seriously asking everyone to car share where possible to enable everyone to park safely. I attach the map of the local fields being used for parking, it will be signposted and marshaled on the day and is only 200 yards from the ground.
 
A BBQ from 8:30am will be selling bacon baps, burgers and hot dogs on both days. On Saturday alongside the BBQ we will have pasties from 12noon inside the clubhouse. Both days will see hot and cold drinks located in the clubhouse and on Saturday there will be a local craft fair open to everyone. There will be a wheel barrow bottle raffle on both days, where a selection of non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks are the prize for one lucky winner. Its £1 a ticket and the winner takes all (apart from the barrow!!haha). This year sees the introduction of a tournament programme with all sales profits going towards our U11s trip to France in 2020 and our local charity; Finns Army.
 
The projected weather looks good, but please feel free to bring a gazebo to set up anywhere around the outside of the respect barriers. That's it i think, if you have any further concerns visit our website or please contact myself.
